How do I register my team?
All coaches must register their team online. Registration can not be completed at the front desk. Note: the coach will need to place a $150 deposit in order to register the team. To register your team online:
- Download the “DASH Platform” App or go to http://register.playsportscity.com for the web version.
- Log in to an existing account by selecting “Log in” or create a new customer account by selecting “Sign up”.
- Once you have created an account or logged into your existing account, select “Register” on the top tool bar.
- If you are a coach registering a team, please select yourself.
- Select “Teams & Leagues”.
- Select “Register a Team” and select “yes” indicating you are the coach/manager.
- Select the appropriate season and then select “all levels” for skill level. This will show you a list of leagues that you can register a team in.
- Select whether you are importing a previous roster (from a previous session) or if you are registering a new team.
- Fill out all of the information (we cannot complete your registration without it). Then select “next”.
- This will enter the amount you are looking for pay for the team. The minimum deposit is $150. It will bring the amount up in the shopping cart and you will select “pay deposit”
- Select “checkout” and complete payment
- Please include the list of players name’s and DOB’s in your registration or e-mail us the info so that we can add all of your players to your roster. All players must create accounts in our system in order to be added to the roster.
- Please notify all of your players that they need to provide birth certificates and take a new photo. We ask that you take care of this before the day of your first game, as there will be long lines the first several weeks that leagues begin.
How do I register my team?
Once you have registered the team, Please click here and submit your roster. Please include full names and dates of birth for all players. Players must be registered in our system to be added to your roster. Please notify your players that they need to create an online account and attend one of our youth registration events to complete this process.
*Please click here to view the the maximum roster size for all youth leagues. The reason we have chosen a maximum number is to ensure that all players participating on a team receive ample playing time. Large roster sizes severely limit playing time, which doesn’t benefit the players.`
If I have players that have never played at Sports City before what do they need to do to register?
New Sports City players need to create a new customer account.
To create a Sports City customer account:
- Click here to login or create your DASH account.
- Once entering your email address and personal information, log into your email and click the email confirmation link.
- Accept the Sports City waiver by checking the box, entering your password, and your initials.
- At this point you will see your DASH dashboard.
To register as an individual for a private team:
- Your coach or team manager must register the team before you can be added to the roster. They will have submitted a roster to us. Once you have an account in our system, we can add you to the roster. If you don’t see yourself listed on the roster, please email us so we can add you. Include the team name and coach’s name.
- Download the “Dash Platform” App or click here for the web version.
- Log in to an existing account by selecting “Log in” or create a new customer account by selecting “Sign up”.
- Once you have created an account or logged into your existing account, see the blue section on the right side of the page and select “purchase membership”.
- Select the youth membership option you would like to purchase. To see membership option details “click here”
- Select the child whose membership you are purchasing and select “add to cart”.
- To complete your registration, please email us a pdf of your child’s birth certificate and come take a photo prior to the day of their first game. We ask that you take care of this before the day of your first game, as there will be long lines the first several weeks that leagues begin.
Please note that players will not be permitted to play in leagues until these requirements have been satisfied.
What about sub players?
Teams are allowed a maximum roster size (please see youth leagues page for maximum roster size). Each team can choose how they want to split the team fee. Most teams choose to divide the team fee equally amongst all players. Some teams may choose to carry X number of paying players and X number of non-paying players (also known as subs). Players may be added through game 3 of the session.
What if I want to play but don’t have a team?
Individual players can sign up to play on one of our house teams. Click here to learn more, or follow the instructions below to register.
To register an individual for a house team:
- Download the “Dash Platform” App or click here for the web version.
- Log in to an existing account by selecting “Log in” or create a new customer account by selecting “Sign up”.
- Once you have created an account or logged into your existing account, select “Register” on the top tool bar.
- Select the name of the child you are registering.
- Select “Teams & Leagues”.
- Select “Join a Team” and then select the house team you are interested in joining based on their age group.
- Fill out all of the information (we cannot complete your registration without it). Then select “next”.
- Select the youth membership option you would like to purchase. To see membership option details “click here”.
- Select the house team reversible jersey “add to cart” button. This is required for all players participating on a house team for the youth Winter #1 Session.
- Select “checkout” and complete payment
- Please email us your child’s birth certificate or bring a copy to the house team’s practice. We can also take an updated photo at that time.
- Once scheduled, we will email you the date and time of the team’s first practice and the team’s game schedule. Be sure to whitelist our contact information in your email client so the emails don’t get sent to spam.
