Private Team Frequently Asked Questions

  • Create a Daysmart account or log into your existing account.

  • Once you log into your account, the system will prompt you to sign a waiver if needed.

  • Select the Membership tab on your dashboard to check status or purchase the necessary Youth League Membership for your child.

  • Once your child is in the system, the team manager will need to request that they be added to the roster. This is not something parents can do themselves.

  • Private team fees are $925. Each team determines how those fees are distributed amongst players.

  • $50 Annual Youth Membership (Good for 1 year from date of purchase.)

  • Each session consists of 8 games. Practices are not included but teams are welcome to rent the field if they choose.
  • Recreational leagues will play on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • Competitive leagues will play Monday through Friday.

  • Matching uniform.

  • Shin guards (covered by socks).

  • Footwear: indoor, turf, or any athletic shoes are acceptable. Cleats are not allowed.

  • Sports City and Poppy Bank Epicenter have a zero-tolerance policy for outside food and drinks.

  • Only water is allowed.

  • We have food and drink options available via self-serve machines and from Victory House Sports Bar & Restaurant.

  • Use the “Register” menu to choose which child you want to sign up and what age group you want to register them for. Make sure to add the Youth League Membership and House Team Jersey to your cart if you don’t already have them.

  • Session fees are $120 for an 8-game session.

  • $50 Annual Youth Membership (good for 1 year from date of purchase.)

  • House Team Jersey: $28+tax (We will continue to use the same colors so if you have a jersey from a past session, you can continue to use that or pass it on to other siblings, friends, etc.)

  • There is one chalk talk and practice before the session starts, then 8 games.
  • Teams are welcome to rent the field for additional practices if they choose.

  • All games will be played on Saturday and Sunday. We will do our best to evenly distribute game days and times.

  • House Team Jersey

  • Shin guards (covered by socks)

  • Yes! Each team needs a parent volunteer to serve as “coach.”

  • The main responsibilities are organizing the team on game day, coordinating substitutions, and ensuring equal playing time.

  • Soccer experience is great, but not required.

  • For everyone serving as head coach, we will discount your child’s team fees by 50%.

  • Teams are organized by birth year but we allow players to play up as much as 2 birth years, with the exception of U8’s (only 1 year younger max will be allowed).

  • There are no exceptions for registering below a player’s birth year.

  • We reserve the right to combine birth years to make a division run.

  • Yes. While we can’t guarantee this, every effort will be made to accommodate these requests. Both players must request each other during the registration process and both players must be registered at the time teams are formed.
  • Sports City and Poppy Bank Epicenter have a zero-tolerance policy for outside food and drinks.

  • Only water is allowed.

  • In keeping with most outdoor leagues, score is not kept until the U10 age group.
